How to Maintain Your Produce PDF Print E-mail

Through great feedback we have received outstanding results for how long our greens have stayed alive. We expect that most will consume right away and the need to preserve the life would be irrelevant but, for those of you who would like to keep for an extended period of time you will get the most life of your produce by following these simple instructions.

Insert produce into a vase or glass with shallow water and leave on the kitchen counter away from direct sunlight or heating/cooling vents. You may keep up to 2 weeks by using this method.

*Please note that submerging the rootball in water completely will cut off all oxygen to the roots which will result in poor health of your produce*

For those who plan to consume within a few days, just simply keep a wet paper towel wrapped around the rootball with the produce wrapped in breathable plastic and store in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator.

*Please note that if your produce is left in the open air of your refrigerator by not being stored properly, it will result in your produce drying out significantly*
